Bryan Mathews

For many years my main career was an archaeologist but maintained an interest in drawings and watercolours when circumstances allowed. Since leaving commercial archaeology I've developed my artwork in subjects ranging from townscapes, the illustration of historical and vernacular buildings and churches, to depictions of more traditional fishing harbours and landscapes. Being lucky enough to
