Yes I start from drawings and photographs I have taken, I have been on a few artists

residencies which have inspired bodies of work, including Arizona, Finland and

Iceland

The etching process does tend to lead itself to a monochrome palette. Although it

possible to print my etchings with colour, I feel they would lose power and emotion.

Although you wouldn’t guess it by looking around my studio, I do actually really love

colour and sometimes I just have to get it out there.
