Early ouzo afternoon

This painting is a semi abstracted view through an open window. It is my vision of the Aegean, the blue and whites of Greece, ouzo, ripe pears, the mellow colour of the sun through a hazy sky. The windows almost make mini compositions and play with the rules of perspective.
