Stubble fields, Herefordshire

An original oil painting painted with a palette knife inspired by a view from the train to Hereford of a barley field on a late summers day. Oil paint applied spontaneously with a palette knife creates interesting, varied marks and textures. Flecks of colour appear throughout the textured field.
